To be aLive and to Enjoy ourselves is our true nature

As awareness of mankind's history narrates to us, not everything there is to be realized, will be realized, at least with my human mind, in this lifetime. Therefore, let me live...and live...and Live...and enjoy...enjoy...Enjoy. An ecclesiastical "no more chasing after the wind" & simply put, enjoyment of life, for this is a gift of ours to embrace. The world collectively at once thought the world was flat. They had no means to traverse beyond the vast expanse of darkness over the horizon of the windy seas. Can you imagine how scary that was? Once the means became available, still, a boat, a ship, it was still scary to travel over the ocean. Can you imagine voyaging out when everyone you knew believed the world was flat? Something in your heart, feeling inclined to discover the truth of what you already know--that there is something beyond this idea of flatness. Something about it thrills you, knows you, brings you alive. You follow your bliss, your dreams, what you...Know. While the whisperings of collective doubt turn into just that...mere whisperings...those who doubt, naysay, and even rehearsing well-intended & verbose stoppage case and give rise to curiosity as they realize your courage may discover something they, too, are now suspecting. Naysaying, well-intended (or not) contrast only builds your resilience, your faith muscle, honing your focus, your determination. Does God create the world in 6 days and then run away because he fears one man or woman's, or circumstance's, contrast? No. Contrast is part of the creation. Contrast is beautiful. Everything is beautiful and timely if you allow yourself to be open to the perception of it.

"Feel the Balance and Perfection of Your Environment
So, the contrast causes new desire to be born within you. The new desire radiates from you, and as you offer the vibration of your new desire, that desire is answered. Every time. When you ask, it is given.

Now think about the perfection of this process: Continuing new ideas for the improvement of your experience emanate from you constantly, and are answered constantly."

"Since Every Request Is Granted, There Is No Competition
Each point of view matters; every request is granted; and as this amazing Universe unerringly expands, there is no end to the Universal resources that fulfill these requests. And there is no end to the answers to the never-ending stream of questions-and for that reason, there is no competition.

It is not possible for someone else to receive the resources that were meant for you, and you cannot selfishly squander resources that were intended for someone else. All desires are answered; all requests are granted, and no one is left unanswered, unloved, or unfulfilled. When you stay aligned with your Energy Stream, you always win, and somebody else does not have to lose for you to win. There is always enough."

Enjoy You. Embrace courage to feel, taste, experience the exhilaration of relaxing into & discovering, moment by moment, feeling by feeling, the Essence of who You are.

Feel, taste, experience the exhilaration of courage to relax into & discover, moment by moment, feeling by feeling, the essence of You...& Enjoy ~ * Your very own source of well-being is you and naturally ever present. What do you believe today?

"You Will Never Get There, So Enjoy Your Journey
Once you consciously observe, from your own creative perspective, how each new achievement leads to another new desire, you will begin to personally understand your part in this expansive Universe. And, in time, you will come to remember that you never get it done because you never cease your awareness of the contrast out of which is always born a new idea or desire. The entire Universe is established in that way. And as you begin to relax into the idea that you are an eternal Being, that your desires will never cease to flow, and that any desire that is born has the power within it to attract (by Law of Attraction) all that is necessary for the expansion and fulfillment of itself, then you may remember the immense Well-Being upon which this Universe is established. And, you may then relax into the eternal nature of your own Being. It is then that you will begin to enjoy your journey.

If your goal is to, finally, once and for all, achieve all that you desire, you will find yourself unable to ever fulfill that goal, for the expanding nature of this Universe defies that idea. You cannot ever get it done because you cannot ever cease to be, and neither can you ever halt your awareness. Yet, out of your awareness will always be born another asking, and each asking always summons another answering.

Your eternal nature is one of expansion-and in that expansion is the potential for unspeakable joy." -Abraham-Hicks http://www.abraham-hicks.com/lawofattractionsource/askitisgiven_chapter_16.php

Full circle! Sat-chit-ananda! Namaste & love to you, Joseph Campbell:

Now, I came to this idea of bliss because in Sanskrit, which is the great spiritual language of the world, there are three terms that represent the brink, the jumping-off place to the ocean of transcendence: sat-chit-ananda. The word "Sat" means being. "Chit" means consciousness. "Ananda" means bliss or rapture. I thought, "I don't know whether my consciousness is proper consciousness or not; I don't know whether what I know of my being is my proper being or not; but I do know where my rapture is. So let me hang on to rapture, and that will bring me both my consciousness and my being." I think it worked.

"Wherever you are -- if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time." --Joseph Campbell Tori Smith this one is dedicated, with Love, to you dear Sunshine & OJ!)

Ecclesiastes 3:12 etc. ~ *

"I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live."

"All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return"

"Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?""

"So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?"

"I told her, 'I don’t want to study what’s wrong with people. I want to study what’s right...When we realize who we are, when we find our highest selves, there are no limits'" -- Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

From Dr. Wayne Dyer's blog (Namaste Dr. Dyer!) ~ *

"There I read an essay by Abraham Maslow called “The Whole Man.” Maslow argued that instead of spending time investigating the behavior and treatment of the most troubled and dysfunctional people, psychologists should take a new tack and study the lives and habits of the self-actualized person. “The study of self-actualized people must be the source of a whole new universal science of psychology,” said Maslow. He had observed a small percentage of people who appeared to live at an exalted level of consciousness—the self-actualized.
By that night when I met with my advisor and mentor Dr. Mildred Peters at Wayne State, I had completely changed my plans for doctoral study. I told her, “I don’t want to study what’s wrong with people. I want to study what’s right.” The only difference I had with Maslow was the idea that only a small percentage of humans were capable of becoming self-actualized. If one person can do it, I thought, then why can’t everyone do it? And so began my course of study into how lives can be made better through self-awareness. When we realize who we are, when we find our highest selves, there are no limits."

To Laugh with Life ~ *

I believe Life is already laughing & we are all a part of it. It's right there. It is always just beyond what you think you see ~ * that beautiful place of laughter... Studying for my work training, listening to Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, drawing smiley faces...one at first...then another for one word to two that seems to strike my fancy, then under requirements I see...

"Undergarments must be worn" First a baffled eh? o.o ?  Then a subtle hint of -.- maybe tiny "they are being too serious" criticism in my head...

Then suddenly, peals of laughter like pouring out of rays of sunshine while realizing they probably are referring to male undergarments under white uniform shirts.

Maybe it wasn't the realization part that struck me as funny. I think it was my seriousness at life that reached its tipping point as it tumbled down into, "I could go from 'now THIS is my serious issue I should focus on' to 'no, now THIS is the serious issue'...etc...etc..." OR I could just...laugh at myself for making seriousness so...serious...whatever the word implies to me at this point.

Everything can be serious...but sometimes I feel, I'm done being so darn serious. I want to dance with the laughter of life...Leela, my cosmic dance, I am here for you. Let's bring it!

To some, the old view of feminism was defensive. No wonder some men want to shut down or run away from the word. However, it had its time and its place. I can see where it served its purpose.

New view of feminism, as I've perceived it in different thought leaders, lifts men up. It's about lifting yourself up, honoring all parts of you, liberating others to do the same.

When I get "loose eye balls" as my sister Helen Lee and I laughingly vented about in reference to a sermon she heard (I don't attend church but kudos to her pastor anyhow)...I think there comes a time in your relationship where someone compliments your significant other and you want to roll your eyeballs (Guilty! Especially after a disagreement). I think the point is not to be hard on ourselves but just to be aware of it as a natural tendency when it comes up. It's a socialized thing. I've seen it cross cultures.

I want to be a stopping point to that and apply my spiritual practice of self-transformation here. I realized how much I love when co-workers, friends, family members point something out stunning and characteristic of my man that makes me fall in love with those traits all over again. My heart swells with admiration and pride and it's worth acknowledging. The human tendency, I think, is to take it for granted like we do with, say PS3's. My man is not a PS3. (LOL) He was MY choice to begin with...so really...it's a pat on the back for me.

"[Tantra actually says that] the nature of the feminine, which can show up in men and women, is to be powerful, is to manifest, is to create, so it is in your nature to build hugely successful businesses, to be financially abundant, to create works of dance and music and works of art and literature that change the world, to be radiant and full, and bring yourself fully to life" -- Layla Martin

It's nice to observe that men no longer need to wait for beer + touch-downs for honest emotional expression (although I love the collective excitement)!

Layla Martin's video http://www.layla-martin.com/2014/3-tantric-gems-of-wisdom/,

How can changing your approach to life dramatically shift your personal happiness?

Layla Martin portrays "Three gems of Tantric Wisdom"can change the way you approach reality [this was key for me] and increase your level of happiness.

1) Self Love--
--Is a substance that fills you up from the inside out--that it is fundamental to being a POWERFUL human being...self love is actually the key to an empowered existence.

It's actually equivalent to the strength of your immune system...not just to stay healthy from disease or aging but it is actually an immunity against things like internal negativity, self-criticism, self-doubt, and other people's judgements of you...

Self love empowers you to live with a kind of POWER that makes you SPARKLE throughout your LIFE.

2) EVERY SINGLE PART of you is sacred (Cheers!)

That means there aren't some parts of you that are bad, or deserve to be punished, or are wrong in some way...And there aren't other parts of you that are good and acceptable and you should only try and be those parts.

Tantra says ALL of YOU, the WHOLE of YOUR HUMANITY, the WHOLE of WHAT YOU ARE is WORTHY of love, WORTHY of acceptance, and sacred--it's actually HOLY.

We as women are sensitive.

If you feel a part of you is not ok

If you played victim your entire life

If you feel disempowered about who you are

You're going to constantly be in an internal struggle

You're going to constantly feel like you need to fix yourself

Rather than allowing your talents

Rather than allowing yourself to LIVE YOUR LIFE AT FULL THROTTLE

And so the tantric approach to ALL of you being sacred,

actually gives you the POWER to EXPRESS WHO and WHAT YOU FULLY ARE in this lifetime

3). The Feminine, to be a woman is actually equivalent with universal power

So there can be this idea in our society

That a woman ought to be passive

You ought to wait for someone to ask you out

You ought to wait for life to come to you

Tantra actually says that the nature of the feminine, which can show up in men and women, is to be powerful, is to manifest, is to create, so it is in your nature to build hugely successful businesses, to be financially abundant, to create works of dance and music and works of art and literature that change the world, to be radiant and full, and bring yourself fully to life,

So how would your life be different if you didn't approach being a woman as something less than or small or that you need to get everyone else's needs met before yours but that one of the big pieces of a   woman's nature is the MAKE SHIT HAPPEN.

Today I decide to love my story

I am learning how to be.
I am learning how to allow.
There's something about it.

There's an earnest longing to be
And by my be-ing
Contribute to the whole

Pay my graces forward

“Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.”
― Joseph Campbell

Ecclesiastes 1:1-2:
1 The words of the Teacher,[a] son of David, king in Jerusalem:
2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!”
    says the Teacher.
“Utterly meaningless!
    Everything is meaningless.”

Ecclesiastes 8:15: So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad

Waking thoughts this morning…

"Who are You?
Where are You?
How can I live it today?..Right now?..And now?..And now?...
How can I live what I know?"

What's my contribution to this beautiful world?

Anger..Is..Beautiful ~ *

"My Eyes So Soft"
 by Hafiz

Your loneliness so quickly.
Let it cut more

Let it ferment and season you
As few human
Or even divine ingredients can.

Something missing in my heart tonight
Has made my eyes so soft,
My voice so

My need of God

* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

You should be angry. You must not be bitter. Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. It doesn’t do anything to the object of its displeasure. So use that anger. You write it. You paint it. You dance it. You march it. You vote it. You do everything about it. You talk it. Never stop talking it.
